Dr. Horbal has compassion for what his patients go through – he has allergies too. As a matter of fact, he takes the same medications he prescribes to his patients.
He knows that allergies cause fatigue, headaches, rashes, and consistent runny noses – among a number of other symptoms. It’s his mission to help his patients feel better.
Dr. Horbal grew up in the Tri-Cities graduating as a Charger from H.H. Dow High School in 1998. After completing his undergraduate studies in Chemistry (B.S.) and History (B.A.) from Hope College in Holland, MI, he completed a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Horbal graduated with honors from Michigan State University – College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency through the Henry Ford Hospital System. The last step of his training – a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology – was completed in 2014 in Cleveland, OH through the University Hospital System. It was there that Dr. Horbal became interested in clinical immunology and immunodeficiencies along with atopic/allergic diseases.
As a partner in practice with his father, Richard, Dr. Horbal brings the most cutting-edge detection and treatment of immunodeficiencies, allergic disease, and asthma to the Mid-Michigan area. He’s ready to see you and your family today.
In his free time, Dr. Horbal enjoys watching Formula 1 racing and also participating with his family with their racing team – Bucksnort Racing.
